This attractive dark ruby-colored, well-balanced, medium-bodied 1999 exhibits notes of underbrush, cassis liqueur, and dried herbs. The wine possesses finesse, harmony, and copious fruit. It can be consumed now and over the next 13-14 years. *** Made from a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, the 1999 possesses sweet berry fruit, supple tannin, an open-knit, fleshy style, and excellent equilibrium/harmony. It will be drinkable upon release, and last for 15 years. Produced by the Rothschild's brilliant administrator, Charles Chevalier, Duhart Milon is a wine to watch.

Chateau Duhart Milon

Chateau Duhart Milon is a world famous wine production estate based in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. Currently it holds the rank of Fourth Growth according to the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.

The vineyards for Chateau Duhart Milon spans an area of 73 hectares, planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc; around 20,000 - 25,000 cases of Duhart Milon are produced on an annual basis.

Along with the primary wine Duhart Milon, a second wine labeled Moulin de Duhart is also in production under the supervision of the general manager Charles Chevallier.
