Montrose 1988

Chateau Montrose

31

Consistently unimpressive, the 1988 Montrose is light, probably too tannic, and lacks richness and depth as well as a finish. High yields and too early a harvest date have left their mark on the 1988. Anticipated maturity: Now-2000. Last tasted, 11/92.
